Pembrokeshire walking adventure packages

OVERVIEW

We have put together great packages for guests wanting to spend a week walking the Pembrokeshire Coastal path and National Park.  The best bit, it does not have to be just an A to B military exercise, you can tailor your adventure to experience the best that Pembrokeshire has to offer.

Choose your accommodation at Hillcroft, Y Cwt Cwtch, our shepherds hut or Spiggy Holes, our summerhouse to stay in . 
We can also arrange stays in Cottages, a Castle or 5* locations if desired. Then talk to us about experiencing the best of the Pembrokeshire Coastal region.

To get you off on the right foot, our Introductory Adventure, we provide a guided walk across the Preseli Hills, taking in some to the most stunning views in the British Isles, steeped in history and fascinating stories of this areas importance over the centuries.
Then daily, we can take you to some of the various start points on the path for you to explore yourselves, recommending some of the finest places to stop, eat & drink, then picking you up at the end of the day and returning you to your residence. No luggage transfers to worry about either.

Although you may enjoy your walking, you may want a day to visit some of the best castles and churches in this area of Wales, especially if the weather is little to inclement for walking. How about a morning or afternoon in a first class Spa? Infinity pool overlooking the Pembrokeshire coast? 
How about a boat trip followed by a Lobster & Crab champagne lunch.

April to July in St Brides Bay, you can purchase priority booking tickets direct through ourselves to see the Puffins on Skomer Island. Provides you with direct access to the boat. Or how about boat trips to and around Ramsey Island, the home to a wide variety of wildlife including the popular seals and sea birds, popular in September to October time.
Why are we different?, well we know you'll want to experience all of what Pembrokeshire has to offer and to that point, we will provide a Celtic evening of live music and some of the most excellent food to be found in the area.

These exclusive walking adventure packages are only available in the Spring, April to early July, especially for the Puffins and Autumn, September through to end of October, which is ideal for seal watching.

As a guide, based on 7 nights accommodation, packages for 4 to 8 people from £650.00 per person based on two people sharing. This includes your daily transportation, an evening meal inclusive live music not to be missed.

We can arrange collection from and to Cardiff airport, local train stations or ferry ports in Pembrokeshire.

Accommodation

The choice is yours, we have a lovely, well appointed Shepherds Hut, sleeps two and a Summerhouse which also sleeps two, both located at Hillcroft. We can even arrange accommodation in local Cottages or a Castle if desired.

Your stay will be based on self catering, though we can help with providing good local produce, craft beers and Gins.  If preferred we can help arrange reservations for any or all meals.

Whats included?

Lets be clear, this is your walking holiday so in essence what we provide will enable  you to tailor your own Pembrokeshire adventure.

The Introductory Adventure package for example; the core of your walking holiday will include your accommodation at either a riverside Cottage, Y Cwt Cwtch the Shepherds Hut or Spiggy Holes the Summerhouse.
It will include all required transportation for your walks. Transport from your preferred choice of collection from and to, Cardiff airport, local train stations or ferry ports in Pembrokeshire.Includes our unique guided Preseli Hill walk.

Based on a group of four to eight people this Introductory Adventure Package is £750.00 per person.
*based on two people sharing.

Heres an popular 7 day example;
Arrive at your accommodation on Friday afternoon.
Saturday: our Guided walk in the Preseli Hills, just to get you warmed up for the week ahead.  
Keep in mind that the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is all inclusive of stunning scenery, flora and forna and the wildlife.
Sunday: We will collect you from your accommodation and take you to one of the most stunning parts of the coast, Strumble Head.  From there we will set you off south towards your first destination Tregwynt Woolen Mill.
Monday: You can pick up your walk from Tregwynt,  you can opt for a welsh breakfast at the Woolen Mill before you go on your way again south toward Abereidy and the fabulous Blue Lagoon.  This is a full days walk that will take you via Porthgain with its harbour, the Sloop Inn and the famous Shed, renowned for it's Fish & Chips. 
Tuesday: The walk from Abereiddy to Whiesands Bay is regarded as a an experience not to be missed.  
Wednesday: Explore St Davids Head from Whitesands bay round to Caerfai Bay, taking in Perth Class and St Nons and the famous well.  A short walk from Caerfai takes you in to the City of St Davids.  A Celtic night out with live music and food at a local hostelery.
Thursday: From the City of St Davids head towards Solva with its harbour and probably after a well earned break carry on to the glorious Newgale beach. Lobster & Champagne lunch.
Friday: time to vacate and reflect on your week here on the furthest most westerly point of Wales and, of course, make plans to return.

Accommodation is self catering, however we will provide breakfast locally.  We will also provide daily packed lunches to suit all diets.

What experiences can we add for you?
Can we tempt you to locally caught Lobster and Crab Champagne Lunch? budget £20 - £25 per person

Fish & Chips at the Shed in Porthgain we can arrange transport to and from and you can choose from an excellent seafood menu.

You could add in a boat trip, popular Ramsey Island trips from St Justinians start from £28.00 per person

The popular Puffin trips to Skoma  are about £22.00 per person, if you'd like us to arrange transport and include a special treat at the Druidston in the afternoon let us know and we can advise on a package to suit.

There are heaps of great beaches all the way around St Bride's Bay and beyond – Broad Haven, Little Haven and Marloes to name a few – making surfing and water sports and obviously popular activity. We can provide access to surf shops with equipment for hire, with tuition for surfing, coasterring, stand-up paddle boarding (SUPing), sea kayaking and wind-surfing.
